A Ballet Austin Gala With Details to Die For
To-die-for details colored every angle of Ballet Austin’s Hamlet-inspired 2015 Fête and fête*ish. A candlelit, regal feast ended with an eerie, chocolate Yorik. A quick crack to the skull revealed rich chocolate, lemon curd and raspberry coulis. A magical removal of the fourth wall then revealed the fête*ish party fun, already in full swing. The two parties merged like rock-n-roll royalty schmoozing in the Laertes Lounge and Karma Cabanas and picking their poison from killer cocktails. Live band karaoke brought out everyone’s inner rocker while a beautiful floral Ophelia floated in waiting for her beloved, tortured prince.
