A Magical Texas Debutante Ball
The Sugar Plum Cotillion has been around for decades. Hundreds of young women have mastered the storied Texas Dip bow and learned the tying of the symbolic bow...a sweet metaphor for the mother/daughter relationship through the years. When asked to design this Presentation Ball, we turned to a fairytale classic fit for a princess. A Kate Spade-inspired modern take on the bow, a youthful yet sophisticated custom, foil-stamped, laser cut invitation, dramatic blue drape and linens, gorgeous fuchsia pink, gilded butterfly trees and a Fairy Godmother complete with magic dust made all the ladies’ dreams come true. Even Prince Charming made a surprise appearance with one very sparkly slipper!
